Founded in 2023, Castel is an innovative company specializing in the collection of used tires in Switzerland. Our mission is to contribute to a cleaner environment by addressing the growing challenge of end-of-life tires polluting our planet.
Every year, millions of tires reach the end of their life cycle. Rather than let them harm our environment, Castel has found a sustainable solution: harvesting in Switzerland and exporting to Turkey for recycling.
Once in Turkey, these tires are treated with the most advanced technologies to be transformed in an environmentally-friendly way. In this way, Castel plays a crucial role not only in waste reduction, but also in the creation of a circular economy between Switzerland and Turkey.

Our company's aim is to guarantee nationwide collection and environmentally-friendly disposal; to promote the regeneration of used tires as the most environmentally-friendly recycling solution; to guarantee the environmental compatibility of procedures and forms of use intended for direct recycling.
2. Export
At Castel SA, tire export is a key activity, consisting of marketing and shipping tires internationally. Faced with growing demand on foreign markets, and in order to efficiently redistribute our stocks, we attach the utmost importance to this approach. We take scrupulous care to comply with the regulations of importing countries to guarantee compliance and safety. Our commitment is also to guarantee smooth, environmentally-friendly logistics.
3. Recycling
Collecting, recycling or selectively disposing of used tires is advantageous from an ecological point of view. This saves resources and reduces environmental pollution during manufacturing. End-of-life tires can be burned in a cement plant using the energy they contain, saving large quantities of fossil fuels. Mechanical processes can be used to extract steel and rubber from used tires, which can then be reused as raw materials in the manufacture of products.
